Associated Students of UW Tacoma (ASUWT)
ASUWT represents and promotes student interests, needs, and welfare within the university community through committee representation and administrative level interactions; provides for the expression of student opinion and interests to the community at large through community involvement; and assists the University in providing physical and social environments that are student centered.

Pre-Law Society
Membership and participation in the Pre-Law Society (PLS) is open to all UW Tacoma students. PLS offers enriching opportunities for anyone interested in the field of law - guest speakers, law school visits, and other events will be scheduled throughout the academic year and are open to all. PLS also operates a pilot program for on-campus LSAT prep courses, and supports students in the law school application process.

CIVITAS
Civitas promotes education and networking for a better understanding of current urban issues, striving to increase active participation among UW Tacoma members and the local community in order to make positive impacts in Tacoma and the surrounding communities.
Civitas organizes social and effective activities aimed at providing a network among students, faculty, UWT alumni, and the local business community.

Student Social Work Organization
The Student Social Work Organization (SSWO) strives to empower individuals, groups, and communities towards social change by listening, advocating for social justice, and serving our community with competence and integrity. It provides opportunities for student participation, leadership and foster professional and academic growth, and promotes the visibility of UW Tacoma's campus and students through community outreach and service efforts.
The Philosophy Symposium
The Philosophy Symposium provides a setting for informal discussion of around readings in philosophy.
