Kendall is entering his second year at UWT after transferring from Central Texas College. He began studying Spanish in 2009 and has enjoyed opportunities to live, work, and study in Latin America since then. Besides his work at the university, he also teaches Spanish in Tacoma area elementary and middle schools.
He loves helping students find their own voices in Spanish and guiding them toward effective communication with a whole new segment of the world's population. He fully believes that every student in the Spanish program is capable of learning Spanish with effort, interest, and willingness to seek support when they need it.
Outside the professional world, Kendall enjoys the outdoors, growing tropical plants, and playing with his cat, Creepy.
