Academic Success & Planning

The University of Washington Tacoma offers many tools to aid in your academic success and planning. These tools can be used on your own and in conjunction with your academic advisor. They can provide you with powerful information in regards to degree planning and academic standing.

MyPlan is the UW planning tool that enhances your experience with your advisor by helping you develop a comprehensive academic plan. Find courses, bookmark courses of interest, build your plan for the upcoming quarter, year, or through graduation. Audit your progress. Register for classes. Review your plan with your advisor. Need help? Contact a Student Advising Mentor at uwtuaa@uw.edu, call at 253-692-4857 or from Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm for drop-in advising.

Calculate your cumulative GPA using the UW GPA Calculator and your unofficial transcript found on your MyUW. Determine how well you need to do in future quarters to bring your cumulative GPA to where you want it. Find out how the current quarter's grades affect your cumulative GPA.
