The Undergraduate Academic Advising (UAA) and the University of Washington Tacoma are committed to your success.  Along with academic advising, the university offers a variety of resources which are available to you.  Below are some additional support offices located on campus.  If you are uncertain as to which might benefit you, please talk with your advisor.

The Teaching & Learning Center (TLC) at UWT provides instructional support, administers placement tests and offers tutoring. Take advantage of their useful writing & study skills info sheets and their quantitative skills info sheets!

Career Development & Education assists students and alumni in developing, evaluating, and implementing career and educational decisions. They can help with: exploring careers, resume writing, finding jobs and ways to become employable.

Disability Resources for Students (DRS) functions as the focal point for coordination of services for students with disabilities. DRS can help provide accommodations and additional services for qualified students needing assistance.

If you're wanting to get involved and enhance your campus experience, Student Engagement is the place to go. All clubs, organizations and student publications are housed here. You can also find information on student conduct, housing, child assistance and volunteer opportunities.

The Office of Financial Aid assists students with funding options for paying tuition. Questions about loan options, payment plans, tuition rates, grants/scholarships and anything related to school funding can be directed to the Financial Aid Office. Their office also offers drop-in hours.

The Office of the Registrar is responsible for managing student enrollment, registration and academic records. See the Registrar's Office for anything related to your enrollment status, student record, transcripts, late adding/dropping of courses and withdrawing from the university.

The Library provides spaces where students and scholarship meet. Find articles, books and more! Get research help, reserve a group study room and learn more about printing and technology - connect with Library staff today!

Math placement testing is handled through the Office of Undergraduate Education. Here you can schedule an appointment, find preparation tips, learn how to interpret results and discover options for meeting math requirements.

The Student Counseling Center provides individual, couple and group counseling as well as workshops on mental health. Their services are free to all UWT enrolled students. Sessions are fully confidential and lead by professional counselors.
