Parking Citation Appeal Form

Complete the form below to appeal a UW Tacoma parking citation. Appeals must be received within 20 days of the date of the citation.

The appeals officer's decision will be sent to you via email within 14 business days. If your appeal is denied, you will have 21 days to either request a review or pay the fine.

All appeals will be considered under the regulations listed in Chapter 478-118 WAC. 

A lost ticket, forgetfulness, parking for only a short period, failure to display a permit or not seeing the signs may not be acceptable grounds for appeal.

If you are submitting this appeal more than 20 days after the citation date, your appeal is considered late and subject to denial. To apply for late acceptance of your appeal, you must provide a statement explaining why your appeal is late. A hearing officer will review your statement and determine if there is good cause for late acceptance. If you submit your appeal late and do not provide a explanation, your appeal will automatically be denied.
