Student's eligibility for most types of financial aid is based on their financial need. There is no simple method of determining financial need, such as "income cutoff" or other sorts of determination. In general terms, "financial need" is defined as the difference between what it cost to attend school and the student's resources. Your student resources are the amount you and your family are expected to have available for school and are calculated based not the information on your FAFSA.
We strongly encourage you to apply for financial aid if you think you will need help paying for college.
We recognize you may have a change in circumstances or special expenses that may affect your ability to afford to go to school. If this is true for you then please contact our office for assistance. In some cases, we may be able to adjust your award.
