The Center for Service and Leadership (CSL) is here to support students for more positive community interactions, whether it is through curricular or co-curricular programming. The CSL provides service-learning and leadership opportunities for UW Tacoma students that sustain mutual partnerships, expand learning, advance civic engagement, and contribute to the greater community.
From the Alternative Break Away Program or the Distinguished Leaders Endorsement Program, the Center is here to help you find opportunities to serve and learn in the Tacoma community and surrounding areas.
The CSL comprises of three main programs:
Husky Volunteers - A program that gives recognition to student's volunteer work in their communities. Log existing volunteer work you already participant in, get involved with new opportunites, or learn more about volunteering in general.
BreakAway Trips - Deeply engaging service trips during weekends and school breaks.
Local Events - Service and Leadership themed events held on and off campus during the school year.
