The UW Tacoma Nursing curriculum emphasizes and fosters the integration of teaching, inquiry, and service among a community of diverse students. Partnerships with the community provide learning environments in which students build upon their skills and knowledge to strengthen their understanding of local, national, and global health issues.   • As spring quarter nears its end, there are still a few scholarship programs with deadlines upcoming, as well as some fantastic year-end events. This Thursday, May 17 is the 6th Annual Global Honors Colloquium from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. in the Carwein Auditorium (KEY 102).
