A UW Tacoma education is equivalent to a UW education. Tuition is the same, faculty quality is the same, and the diploma is the same. The Tacoma campus is smaller, so professors know students by name and students know their classmates.

The city of Tacoma is smaller than Seattle, just as UW Tacoma is a smaller campus than UW Seattle. Tacoma is home to a vibrant business community and lively arts scene.
