Welcome to The Accounting Hub!
PURPOSE
The Accounting Hub at the Milgard School focuses on our students by supporting their academic development and promoting lifelong learning on their pathways to academic success and beyond. Students utilizing this resource will be better prepared to meet the demands of the accounting curriculum, preparing them for the professional world. The Hub also promotes alumni and community engagement with faculty, students, and the UW community as a whole.

In order for us to help students most efficiently and effectively here are a few things we expect of students to the Accounting Hub:
- Peers
Specialists have a wide a wide knowledge of accounting, however certain principles may require faculty support.
- Guide Your Learning
We will help you work through concepts, suggest alternative ways to approach or fix problems, and help improve your study skills. We will not do problems for you, or give you answers.
- Come Prepared
Bring your attempt at a solution for discussion. This will help the specialist identify how they can best support you.
- Improve Your Learning
We will encourage you to work on your own after some assistance so that you can improve your learning, and so that others can receive help.
- Share the Time
Since we're drop-in, specialists have to help all students; we appreciate your patience!
- Respect Each Other
Students and specialists will treat each other with respect and kindness.
- Help Reduce Noise
Silence your cell phone, take calls in the hall, and keep your voice at an indoor level to respect others' learning.
- Clean Up
Please clean up after yourself before you leave.
