Quantitative Support Services at the TLC can help students prepare for the math placement exam. Types of Support Offered Some of the ways in which we can assist include: Providing relevant resources Recommending a study plan Identifying strengths and weaknesses Reviewing particular concepts and one-on-one drop in tutoring Providing refresher workshops on select subjects (see our Workshops page, generally refresher workshops are at the beginning of the quarter) Discussing strategies for dealing with math anxiety Please note that we do not advocate cramming for the placement exam. If you need extensive assistance and reviewing, we suggest that you try to take a class if that option is available to you.
