Academic Success Programs (ASP), a unit within Academic Affairs, helps UW Tacoma students learn, thrive, graduate, and pursue lives and careers of purpose. Guided by a data-informed and values-driven approach, we provide academic advising, tutoring, study abroad opportunities, support for international students, student fellowships and awards, High-Impact Practices, and faculty development programs that strengthen student learning and success.
Through these services and initiatives, we help students navigate their academic journeys, deepen their learning, broaden their perspectives, and achieve their goals. We also partner with students, faculty, staff, and campus leaders to improve systems, remove barriers, and advance a culture of student success across the university.
