The University of Washington Tacoma’s Institute for Innovation and Global Engagement (IIGE) invites proposals for academic papers, posters, design projects, and/or performance/spoken word art for its Global Engagement Conference on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

Open to graduates and undergraduates at UW Tacoma and area institutions, the Global Engagement Conference brings together forward-thinking, solution-oriented projects and papers on global issues that connect us all.

We welcome submissions that engage with one or more of our globally focused conference themes.
