All students are encouraged to consider the benefits of the full Minor in Global Engagement (25-28 credits), but the Global Honors Program also offers the Global Honors Distinction pathway (20-23 credits) for those who wish to avail our signature opportunities without overburdening a busy academic schedule.
Students who graduate with Global Honors Distinction receive the Global Honors transcription on their University of Washington diplomas and transcripts. The Global Honors Distinction pathway offers an interdisciplinary curriculum that integrates theory with practice. It connects students to the places and communities they are studying through community-engaged seminars.
Students who complete the Minor in Global Engagement with a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher are automatically considered for Global Honors Distinction.
