Pack Chats are an opportunity for new UW Tacoma students to connect with their Pack Advisors, ask questions, learn about campus resources, and connect with other students over the summer!

Pack Chat #1: Academic Resources
Join us for our first Pack Chat of the year! Learn about the many academic resources available to support your success at UW Tacoma, including the Writing Center, Quantitative Tutoring Center, Library, I.T. Helpdesk, and study spaces. You'll also have the opportunity to meet your Pack Advisors, connect with fellow first-year students, and get your questions answered before the quarter begins.
After the session, stick around for a free boba social! It's a great chance to continue getting to know your Pack Advisors and classmates while enjoying a boba on us.

Pack Chat #2: Transportation
Explore UW Tacoma and the surrounding neighborhood with your Pack Advisors! Learn about parking, free public transportation, campus safety, and local resources while discovering nearby cafés, study spots, and hidden gems. You'll also have the opportunity to connect with your Pack Advisors and meet fellow students before the quarter begins.
After the session, join us for a neighborhood café visit! We'll provide vouchers for a FREE BEVERAGE at one of our favorite local cafés while you continue getting to know your classmates and Pack Advisors.
