Bachelor of Arts

The Politics and Philosophy specialization provides an in-depth study of political theory, 
political and social interactions, relations between states and capital and the history of 
relationships between governments and citizens. The specialization aims to develop skills 
needed for an informed and effective citizenship.

Admission Requirements

A minimum of 45 lower-division credits is required before declaring the major. To declare the Politics, Philosophy and Economics major, students should reach out to the majoradvisor.

Degree Requirements

For a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, students must complete 65 major credits, which must include 45 credits of upper-division (300–400 level courses), including a Capstone, with a minimum 2.0 GPA in courses applied to the major, as well as the UWT general education and graduation requirements totaling a minimum of 180 credits.

Honors

Note: Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PP&E) majors cannot minor in Economics, Law and Policy, or Politics.
