The Education and Community Engagement Minor is intended for students interested in understanding the purpose and impact of education across global communities. Students examine the role of multiple forms of education, the impact of education on a range of societal inequalities and the sociopolitical forces of race, class, gender, sexuality, culture, language and immigration within a human rights framework.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To declare an Education and Community Engagement minor, you must have earned a minimum of 45 credits and declared a major. Declare the minor by completing the Request to Declare/Change a Major or Minor form and submitting it to the Office of the Registrar.
DEGREE REQUIREMENTS
For a minor in Education and Community Engagement, you need to complete 30 credits. All courses in the minor must be completed with a cumulative 2.0 GPA.
