To enroll and/or receive additional information, please contact us at ghonors@uw.edu or book an advising meeting.
The Institute for Innovation and Global Engagement offers microcredentials in Global Citizenship and Global Leadership with fewer credit requirements (8–16 credits) for those who wish to take advantage of the signature opportunities of the Global Honors Program ( globally-themed classes with a small faculty-to-student ratio and funded experiential learning opportunities) without overburdening a busy academic schedule. Submit a poster presentation at the annual Global Engagement Conference, earn a minimum GPA of 3.3 or higher in microcredential courses, and maintain a cumulative UWT GPA of 3.3 or higher.
The microcredentials combine three pillars of excellence – scholarly advancement, effective leadership, and community engagement – and, like the Minor in Global Engagement, considerably enhance a student's academic credentials.
