Our team’s mission is to connect the campus community to available audio + visual technologies.
We achieve this by providing and maintaining A/V equipment for both on-campus and virtual classroom and event environments, arranging one-on-one trainings, assisting with video conferencing, supporting in-person or online events of all sizes, and collaborating with constituents to create opportunities for future learning.

Reporting Classroom Problems

Information Technology is available for classroom support, including: faculty, student and guest presentation assistance, computer and media equipment training and troubleshooting, and additional equipment setup. General classroom support can be requested via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.

If you are planning an on-campus or virtual event that requires media support, online coordination, or media equipment, contact our event coordinator to discuss your technical needs. It is helpful to e-mail us as soon as you can with your ideas and contact information PRIOR to submitting your UUF request.
Locations are currently limited due to COVID-19 Safe Start campus availability.
The majority of our conference rooms on campus are equipped with Polycom IP-based teleconference phones. Phone setups can be requested for non-conference locations via email@example.com.
Video conferencing is available on the UW Tacoma campus for internal and external clients. Our preferred method of connection is via Zoom web-based videoconferencing. We have departmental licenses for one-time meeting usage that can be generated for you. If you would like to use long-term, please consider using your own or one from your department.
