Legal Pathways Fellows will begin accepting applications for students hoping to start law school in the fall of 2025 in January 2024. Applications are currently closed for students planning to start law school in the fall of 2024. Eligibility and Application Information
Legal Pathways Fellows will be selected on a competitive basis considering a wide variety of factors. To be considered, applicants must submit a complete application and supporting materials by the application deadline. In addition to the required application materials, in order to be eligible for consideration, applicants must:
Be a current University of Washington junior, senior, or alumni;
Intend to apply to law school with a fall 2025 matriculation (start) date;
Be a first time LSAT test-taker or have received a 149 or below on a prior test administration;
Be able to commit to intensive LSAT study between in the summer/fall of 2024 utilizing a commercial LSAT preparation program (approximately 15-20 hours per week)
Commit to take the LSAT in the fall of 2024
Have taken or register to take TLAW200 (2 credit Pre-Law Seminar) (to be offered in Spring 2024)*
Students from groups underrepresented in the legal field including alumni who are members of underrepresented minority groups, formerly incarcerated, or first-generation college students are highly encouraged to apply.
