Meet the Pack Advisors
Black Pack
Black stands for Perseverance & Dignity
Perseverance means determination in the face of adversity. We motivate ourselves and each other to do our best. We extend grace when we miss our mark and learn from our mistakes. It’s important to hold a common respect for ourselves and our work.
Cameron
Black Pack
Hello everyone, my name is Cameron. I use he/him pronouns and I will be one of the Pack Advisors for the 2025–2026 school year. I am a senior in the I.T. program as a Running Start student. I am from Puyallup, but I have been enjoying my time living on campus in the dorms. As a Pack Advisor, I am excited to meet new students, help you as needed, and also learn more about resources on campus so I can raise awareness for them. My hobbies include playing video games, watching movies and anime, learning Japanese, and working out. My favorite spot on campus is the Mattress Factory’s Dawg House. It is a great mix of a calm space on some days and a lively social area on others.
Advice: Always check your UW email and do not merge it with your personal email address. You might find potential internship or research opportunities there, as well as important information for your degree and events happening on campus.
Natalia
Black Pack
Hello Huskies, my name is Natalia.
I go by she/her/they/them pronouns and I am majoring in Healthcare Leadership. I will be one of your Pack Advisors for the 2025–2026 school year. I was a direct high school to university transfer. I am excited to see and meet all of you, and I cannot wait to hear about your journey ahead. I love playing Pokémon Go (part of the best team, Valor). My favorite spot on campus is the CEI (Center of Equity and Inclusion), which is a safe, inclusive space that often hosts events with free food.
Advice: Be honest with others when you are struggling. Communicate as soon as possible and you will be surprised at how nice and accommodating professors and staff can be when you ask for help.
PURPLE Pack
Purple stands for Pride
One of the main goals of the Pack Advisors is to foster campus pride. You belong here, in college, and at the UDub. The UW Tacoma experience is unique. What you do has meaning, and we value you as both a student and a member of the community. We want to recognize where you are coming from, and support you in where you are going. You deserve to feel proud of yourself and your community.
Abigail
Purple Pack
Hey Huskies! My name is Abigail (she/her), and I will be one of your Pack Advisors for the 2025–2026 school year. I’m a junior majoring in Information Technology.
I’m really excited to meet new people, learn about their journeys, and spend more time with my teammates. Some of my hobbies include reading books and webtoons—mainly romance and historical genres. At this point, I’ve read over 100 webtoons! I also enjoy watching anime and K-dramas. My favorite anime is Fairy Tail, which highlights friendship—something I value deeply.
My favorite spot near campus is The Koi. Their bento box lunch special is my go-to meal, and their sushi is also really good!
Advice: Try to make friends, attend events, and make the most of your college life. Having friends on campus encouraged me to step out of my shell and be open to new experiences.
Ivan
Purple Pack
Hey Huskies, my name is Ivan and I use he/him pronouns. I will be your 2025–2026 Pack Advisor. I am a sophomore in the Biomedical Sciences program and came to UWT as a Running Start student from Bellevue College. I enjoy drawing, spending time with family and friends, watching anime, and playing sports. I love the outdoors, whether it is hiking or camping with friends. I recently started reading manga again and I am open to suggestions. You will probably see me at the Mattress Factory, either playing pool or on the couch playing Super Smash Bros.
Advice: It is okay to struggle and feel overwhelmed. We are all human and need breaks sometimes. Reaching out for help can feel intimidating, but it can also take some of the stress off your shoulders.
GOLD Pack
Gold stands for Community & Inclusion
Our family, friends, staff, and faculty form our community, and together we support each other and our collective success. We all come from different places and bring different strengths. It’s important to stand together in these differences. We strive to make everyone feel safe and heard in this space.
Fatima
Gold Pack
Hey everyone, my name is Fatima. I use she/her pronouns and I will be your 2025–2026 Pack Advisor. I am entering my third year in the Psychology program. I came to UWT right after high school in 2023, so I understand the challenges of transitioning to college. I am excited to meet new students and create fun events to help you connect with others. My hobbies include listening to music, especially mariachi and older songs, walking and playing with my dog Cookie, and spoiling her with treats and toys. I also enjoy journaling, coloring, and anything that helps me relax, as well as doing a Mort impression from Madagascar. My favorite spot on campus is the lounge outside the TPS (Tacoma Paper Stationery) building, where you can relax in the sun and enjoy the nature around campus.
Advice: Talk to your professors and ask any questions you have. Building relationships with them will benefit you throughout your time at UWT.
Trizsa
Gold Pack
Hi everyone, my name is Trizsa and my pronouns are she/her. I am excited to be one of your Pack Advisors for the 2025–2026 school year and to build new connections during our time together. I came straight from high school in 2023 and I am now a junior majoring in Psychology. Outside of school, I enjoy crocheting, reading, sleeping, singing karaoke, binging my favorite shows like Modern Family and New Girl, and spending time with friends. I love the First Gen Office because it feels safe and welcoming, and it is where I met some of my closest friends. I also enjoy going anywhere there is free food.
Advice: Never be afraid to ask for help with anything. Starting college can be overwhelming, but asking questions, even ones that feel odd, can help you a lot.
GREY Pack
Grey stands for Integrity & Compassion
Integrity means doing the right thing, even when no one is looking. We aim to have complete transparency in order to foster trust. It’s important to treat each other as equals and show everyone the same degree of empathy and compassion. Part of showing that we care is being present in your journey, wherever that may be.
Callie
Grey Pack
Hello Huskies, my name is Callie and I go by she/her pronouns. I am originally from Myanmar. I am a transfer student from Green River College and currently in my senior year, majoring in Finance and minoring in Business Analytics. I am so excited to be your Pack Advisor for the 2025–2026 school year. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, watching K-dramas, and relaxing at home, but I also love hanging out with my close friends and trying new restaurants. My favorite spot on campus is the study area in the Dougan building.
Advice: Make as many connections as possible during your first quarter so that you feel more connected to campus and less lonely. The Pack Advisor team is here to help you navigate campus resources and build community.
Rapha
Grey Pack
