Milgard School announces 2012 Business Leadership Award Honorees
Three South Sound business executives will be honored by the Milgard School of Business at its 11th Annual Business Leadership Awards Dinner on April 24.
- Luke Xitco, president and CEO of Associated Petroleum Products, was selected as Business Leader of the Year.
- Tony G. Panagiotu, president of Panagiotu Pension Advisors, was named Small Business Leader of the Year.
- John R. Peterson, president of Bellarmine Preparatory School, was named Non-Profit Business Leader of the Year.
Heritage Bank is the presenting sponsor of the event and The News Tribune is the media sponsor.
The Milgard School's 11th Annual Business Leadership Awards Dinner will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center.
The Milgard School of Business offers programs of study leading to a bachelor of arts in business administration (BABA) and master of business administration (MBA). It will also offer a master of accounting (MAcc) starting in Autumn 2012.
Established in 1994 as the University of Washington Tacoma's Business Administration program, the Milgard School of Business was named in 2003 in recognition of a generous endowment of now $20 million from Gary E. Milgard, the Gary E. Milgard Family Foundation and James A. Milgard.
