Ashley Ramirez Honored with 2025 Student Civic Leader Award

Ashley Ramirez, a dedicated and passionate senior at the University of Washington Tacoma, majoring in Law and Policy and a NextGen Civic Leader Corps student officer, has been selected for the prestigious 2025 Student Civic Leader Award, presented by the Washington Campus Coalition for the Public Good (WACC). This recognition highlights Ashley's outstanding leadership, civic engagement, and commitment to community service.
Nominated by NextGen advisor Liz Hunt, Ashley's selection for this award underscores her significant contributions to both her campus and the broader community. The Student Civic Leadership Awards are designed to honor students who demonstrate exceptional civic and community engagement, leadership, and social entrepreneurship. Each WACC member campus can nominate up to two students annually, making Ashley's achievement particularly noteworthy.

The award ceremony was hosted by WACC at Western Washington University in Seattle on Friday, March 28, 2025.
