UW Tacoma School of Nursing and Healthcare Leadership Community Partner Award

The Community Partner Award recognizes an individual or organization that has made a meaningful contribution to advancing the School’s mission and support of community engaged learning.

Eligibility & Criteria

  • Who can be nominated?
    • Any individual or organization
    • Self-nominations are welcome.
  • What we are looking for:
    • Demonstrated ability to support and partner with the School, its faculty, staff, and/or students.
    • Partnership may include:
      • Contributions to teaching and learning
      • Support of faculty research and scholarship
      • Support of staff initiatives
    • Evidence that the nominee has provided significant support in alignment with the mission and goals of the School.

Nomination Process

  • Nominations may be submitted by faculty, staff, students, alumni, or the nominee themselves using the designated webform.
    • Deadline: Last Monday of April each year.
  • Complete all required fields, including:
    • Uploading a nomination letter
    • Optional: Additional supporting documents
  • The School’s faculty will vote on the recipient and forward their recommendation to the Dean for final approval.
