The School of Engineering & Technology (SET) at the University of Washington Tacoma focuses on developing high-quality, high-technology academic programs that serve the needs of the state of Washington. Established in 2001, SET has supported the community by building modern facilities, classrooms, and laboratories. Through partnerships with local companies, internships, and research projects, SET students gain valuable hands-on experience to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving industry.
The SET Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Council promotes a supportive and welcoming environment for all members of the SET community by fostering collaboration, encouraging personal and professional growth, and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
