Academic Advising in the School of Engineering & Technology
Due to social distancing requirements by the state of WA during the Covid-19 pandemic, all advising appointments will be held remotely via phone or Zoom.
Are you in need of academic advising? Academic advising is integral to the success of our students, and SET advisors are here to work with you every step of the way. We can help you determine the program that is the right fit for you, understand the admissions process and prerequisites, plan your course schedule, fill out and submit required UW paperwork, identify resources to promote your success or support you through challenges, and prepare for life beyond college.
We offer weekday appointments year-round during business hours. Access our online scheduling system below to make the appointment you need at a time that works for you. Appointments can be made with the advisors up to 12 hours in advance, but please try to schedule early as our calendars often fill up quickly.
The advisors see students by appointment only. Drop-in advising by phone or in person is not available.
Current and prospective students for the undergraduate programs in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, mechanical engineering, and the minor in applied computing. Zoom appointments only.
Late arrival policy: In alignment with our in-person late arrival policy, students who arrive to a Zoom appointment more than 15 minutes late will need to reschedule.
Current and prospective students for the Master/Ph.D. Computer Science & Systems, Master of Cybersecurity & Leaderships, and the Graduate Certificate in Software Engineering Development. Phone appointments only.
