The minor in Restoration Ecology seeks to prepare students to address the complex relationships of human communities and ecological sustainability. The minor provides training from theory to practice, giving you the skills necessary to participate as an effective team member and leader on challenging restoration projects. It illustrates to employers and funding agencies that you have completed fundamental training in restoration ecology, including a one-year team-based restoration project. The minor is a tri-campus initiative (UW Bothell, UW Seattle and UW Tacoma). You may, but are not required to, take courses from more than one campus in order to earn the minor.
