Dr. Christopher B. Knaus serves as Professor of Education at the University of Washington Tacoma. Dr. Knaus has worked across a range of teaching and administrative roles in high schools, prisons, shelters, community organizations, and various higher education institutions. A cross-disciplinary scholar and practitioner, Dr. Knaus collaborates locally and globally to transform education systems, strengthen community-based organizations, innovate educator preparation processes, and cultivate educational leaders. Dr. Knaus also partners with communities to implement localized workforce development projects, including for teachers and educational leaders, as well as service-related industries. Dr. Knaus' current projects include practitioner-oriented collaborations in Washington, Oregon, California, and Southern Africa.

M.Ed., University of Washington Tacoma, 2014

Ashley Walker joined the UW Tacoma community in the Office of Advancement, in 2010, shortly after graduating with her BA in Communications. In 2014, she became the graduate academic advisor within the School of Education where she advises and recruits for the School's Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.), as well as the EdS in School Psychology Program. Currently, she is serving as the School of Education's Assistant Director of Academics and Enrollment Services.
