Program at a glance
Sign up to become a UWT Staff Connector and get paired with a different colleague each month to meet over coffee or computer screens.
The expected time commitment is no more than an hour a month to build relationships. Connectors will receive an email from the Connections Program Chair at the beginning of each month with their pairings.

The Staff Association Connections Program aims to, well, connect staff across the UW Tacoma campus by facilitating casual meetings and hosting quarterly events with the goal for staff to build relationships and strengthen our amazing community.
Get involved
All UW Tacoma staff can sign up at any time to become a Connector.
At the beginning of each month, the Connections Program Chair will create and email a list of random Connector pairings to all active participants.
Get connected
Paired Connectors will coordinate together and meet that month for a minimum of 15 minutes, either in person or virtually.
Grab a coffee or snack at the Husky Market, walk the Prairie Line Trail, find a new part of campus to explore - or get on a Teams call to break up the work day!
Have fun
In addition to monthly meetups, UWTSA will hold quarterly Connections Program events on or adjacent to campus. Events are open to all staff, but Connectors are especially encouraged to attend and to invite other staff who may be interested in becoming a Connector or just meeting someone new.
Events will be shared on the UWTSA calendar, Teams site and by email.
