Any member of the campus community can request Services & Activities Fee (SAF) funding per the UW Tacoma SAF Committee (SAFC) Bylaws.

The SAFC reviews funding three times each year, in the Autumn and Spring for Special Allocations and annually during Autumn and Winter quarters for Annual Allocations. Dates for the 2026-2027 request processes are below. If additional time is needed past a deadline, proposers can contact the SAFC at safcuwt@uw.edu.

  • The 2026-2027 Autumn Special Allocation Proposal Window is now open. Proposals are due, Friday, November 13, 2026 at Noon. 
  • The 2026-2027 Annual Allocation Proposal Window will be open December 4, 2026 - February 5, 2027
  • The 2026-2027 Spring Special Allocation Proposal Window will be open March 12, 2027 - April 16, 2027.
