Alireza Boloori, Ph.D., an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics at the Milgard School of Business, was recognized as the runner-up for the prestigious "MSOM Society Award for Responsible Research in Operations Management." The award acknowledges Alireza's research paper titled "Data-Driven Management of Post-transplant Medications: An Ambiguous Partially Observable Markov Decision Process Approach," published in the MSOM journal in 2020.
The award highlights research that contributes to creating a better world through its impact on society and stakeholders using evidence-based, high-quality, and societally beneficial organizational practices across the business, government, and non-profit spheres.
Alireza's work exemplifies the principles of responsible research and its dissemination. The award is co-sponsored by the Community for Responsible Research for Business and Management (RRBM) and involves a rigorous evaluation process by a diverse review committee. The winners will receive a plaque and share a special award at the ceremony.
