The UW Tacoma Library welcomes purchase requests and suggestions from UW Tacoma faculty, students, and staff for materials which support the campus mission and curriculum.  Requests are considered within the scope of the Tacoma Library Collection Development Policy.

Requesting Video Purchases

  • The Library seeks to accomodate all faculty requests for media purchases and will order new materials based upon availability and budget. 
  • All requests for purchases will be processed within three business days, and new materials typically become available in the Library within 2-3 weeks. Requests for streaming media may take longer if rights must be licensed.
  • Prior to submitting a streaming request, please review "How to Find and Use Streaming Video for Teaching".
