Dr. Menaka Abraham, Teaching Professor in the School of Engineering and Technology and Interim Executive Director of the Office of Undergraduate Education, will be our next permanent Executive Director of that office.  Menaka has held leadership roles on campus as Faculty Assembly Chair and Vice Chair, led the development of our current Academic Plan, and has been committed to student success at UW Tacoma for two decades.

The Executive Director of the Office of Undergraduate Education reports to the Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and is responsible for the Office of Undergraduate Education, including the planning and operations of the First-Year Core Curriculum, the Testing Center, pre-major academic programming in the first two years, and relevant college transition programming.  The Executive Director serves as part of the Academic Affairs leadership team.
