FY25 UW Tacoma operating budget development kickoff
The Washington state legislature will soon be back in session and preparing the state supplemental budget for FY25. For our part, we will monitor the legislative budget development process and facilitate communication with lawmakers to share stories about the incredible work of our faculty, staff, and students — and how that work supports economic development and, most importantly, our community.
Additionally, between now and March our campus will engage in a transparent and inclusive budget planning effort involving faculty, staff and students, the end result being a FY25 institutional operating budget for the UW Board of Regents’ consideration.
We will be presenting our FY25 UW Tacoma Operating Budget Development Kickoff on Dec. 6, 2023, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in William Phillip Hall.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, it will be recorded and available on our budget page on the UW Tacoma website.
I look forward to this time with our community to discuss this process and answer questions.
