Planning for our Future
 

Last year, we celebrated UW Tacoma's 35th anniversary. We reflected on how this campus has grown into a vibrant, urban-serving university that has helped transform lives and communities across the South Sound and Washington. Now we have an opportunity to ask: What's next?

As the academic year begins, we are excited of launch the process to update the University of Washington Tacoma strategic plan. 

Our goal is to chart a bold path by building on the vision of our recently updated Campus Master Plan, aligning a UW Tacoma expression of the University of Washington’s strategic framework, and identifying the priorities that will shape our next five years.

I invite you to engage in the process robustly to share your perspectives and expertise. There will be many ways to get involved. Our consultants at Keeling & Associates will reach out through meeting invitations, Campus Updates, forums, and a survey open to the whole community.

One way we've strengthened our community is by thinking about the future together. I look forward to hearing your voices, both longtime and new, as we design the next five-year strategic plan.
