Major related transfer equivalencies from local colleges can be found below. Students do not need to complete all of the courses listed below before being admitted to UWT or the Environmental Sustainability major; however, transfer and Running Start students should aim to complete at least statistics (MATH& 146), technical communication (ENGL& 235), and microeconomics (ECON& 201) before starting at UWT. We recommend completing additional courses from the lists below before transferring to UWT, if possible. 

Additional transfer courses may be applied to the major after being reviewed by an advisor (and faculty when necessary). This review will typically occur after a student has been fully admitted to UWT. Prospective students can email the Environmental Sustainability advisor with questions prior to being admitted.  

Please note that online lab courses will not be accepted in the Environmental Sustainability major and cannot serve as pre-requisites for subsequent SAM courses. Exceptions will be made for online lab courses that were completed between Spring 2020 and Spring 2022.
