Please note that the Cashier’s Office window is closed for in-person payments and the CAR 400 suite is accessible by-appointment-only. Online payments are processed immediately. Payments left in the drop box (across from Dougan 176) are processed weekly. Receipts will be emailed to student’s UW email address.
DO NOT leave payment at or under the doors.

Online Tuition Payments
Make FREE online tuition payments! All you need is your UW Student ID number, your bank's routing number and your bank account number. Log into MyUW, click on your "Tuition Charge Statement" and select the "Web Check" option to make your payment.
Staff and faculty, please visit the Finance Office for Payment Services, including Cash Transmittals (CTs) and eCommerce.
Important Notices About Student Account Payments
- Credit/Debit cards are NOT accepted in person at the UW Tacoma Cashier's Office. Credit card, debit card and web check payments can be made online.
- In an effort to promote student safety, UW Tacoma Cashier's Office does NOT accept cash payments greater than $500.00. Personal checks, cashiers/bank checks and money orders will still be accepted. Or payment can be made online with a web check (no service fee) or credit/debit card (service fees are applied) via MyUW.
- UW Tacoma does not accept foreign deposits for student account payments, even when they are drawn in US Dollars (USD). Foreign checks, money orders, cashier's checks, drafts or currency presented for deposit that were not issued by a bank in the United States, including Canada, are considered a foreign item.
