MSAcc Direct | Eligibility Criteria & How to Apply
Eligibility Criteria
MSAcc Direct is an invitation-only pathway for outstanding UW Tacoma undergraduate accounting seniors to enter the Master of Science in Accounting (MSAcc) program. To be eligible for the program, each of these three requirements must be met:
- Current Milgard BABA Accounting Student
- Must be a senior in standing at UW Tacoma majoring in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting.
- Intermediate Series GPA
- 3.0 GPA or higher in the Intermediate Accounting series; TACCT 301, 302, 303 (cumulative of all three courses).
- Cumulative GPA
- 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA.
How to Apply
- Students who meet the criteria will receive an invitation email after completing TACCT 303.
- Accept the invitation by:
- Clicking the link in the invitation letter.
- Completing the acceptance form.
- Begin the abbreviated application using the provided code.
- Attach your resume and transcript.
- Contact the program (uwtmsacc@uw.edu) for application fee processing before you submit.

Invitations are sent automatically to eligible students; no separate application is needed until you accept.

This scholarship can only be applied to UW Tacoma’s MSAcc Program tuition and fees.

The Accounting Excellence Scholarship funds will be distributed in equal portions throughout the program’s three quarters.
