Student Affairs Team Spirit Award: First Gen Fellows (Winter 2021)

Quarterly, the Student Affairs Leadership Team nominates groups within the division to be recognized. One team is selected to be recognized with that quarter's "Team Spirit Award."

First Gen Fellows

I would like to nominate 1st Gen Fellows for the Team Spirit Award. They have diligently continued with uninterrupted programming for students regardless of the difficulties the pandemic has caused. Their inclusiveness and willingness to collaborate with all the SA units, professors and departments is a beacon of positivity for all of us.

In addition, their determined “Keep Calm and Carry On” approach to this chaotic and unsettling time is a refreshing reminder that we are all resilient and capable of getting through this difficult time even better than we were before. Their spirit and attitude towards the success of our students in the face of ALL obstacles is uniquely UW Tacoma 1st Gen, which makes them a great team deserving of this award!
