Do you enjoy writing? Are you interested in what's happening around campus? Do you enjoy art and literature? The University of Washington Tacoma currently has two publications — a newspaper and a literary arts magazine.
The Ledger is the independent student newspaper of University of Washington Tacoma. That means it's run by students and written for students. A new edition is published every other week, filled with news, events, arts, entertainment, sports, photos and opinions.
You can find the paper on campus for free and online. But don't just read it — if you have ideas about what content the paper needs, we're always looking for more student voices. Whether you're interested in reporting stories or selling advertising, it's a great place for hands-on learning.
For more information, visit the Ledger's website or pick up a paper around campus (our contact information is on page 2 of every edition). You can also contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or stop by the office in the Mattress Factory building (MAT 151).
Tahoma West is an award-winning literary arts magazine based at UW Tacoma that is dedicated to developing and promoting the arts by providing students, alumni, staff, and faculty a means of publishing their work.
