Academic Advisors
While we require students to schedule advising appointments with the pre-major advisor assigned to them (and strongly encourage dropping-in with that advisor when possible,) pre-major students are welcome to drop-in with any UAA advisor currently available!
Drop-in With Your Academic Advisor In-Person
GWP 102, Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 1 - 2 pm
- Drop-in with your academic advisor on campus.
- First year and pre-major current students only.
- First-come, first-served 15-minute sessions.
- Prepare by using MyPlan before you meet.
- Check in at the GWP 102 front desk.

Meet with a Student Advising Mentor In-Person

Student Advising Mentors (SAMs) are available to help you navigate and utilize advising technologies such as MyPlan, DARS, Time Schedules and MyUW.
Please check in at the front desk with your Husky ID card or another form of picture ID.
Meet with a Student Advising Mentor through Zoom
Mon - Fri: 9 AM - 4 PM
Share your screen with a SAM to help you navigate technologies such as MyPlan and MyUW.
- Please note that it may take up to a few minutes to connect. If the meeting does not connect within 10 minutes or more, please give us a call at 253-692-4857 for troubleshooting.
- If another student is currently meeting with a SAM, you will be asked to wait in the virtual waiting room. We thank you for your patience.
