Meet the UW Tacoma's student leaders and staff who make up the Husky Success team.
“I was born and raised in Australia and always knew I wanted to travel and see the world. I began my journey by studying for my undergraduate degree in both Hawaii and North Carolina. After graduating I worked with the Education Channel in Florida. I attended Graduate School first in Italy and then New York. I lived in Italy for two years and while there I worked with American Students and led them on educational tours from Rome to Paris to London. After continuing my journey to the Pacific Northwest I worked with international students at Tacoma Community College and now call the University of Washington home working with undergraduate academic advising as an academic counselor. My favorite places to visit are Denmark, Scotland and France. My motto? A smile is worth a thousand words."
"Howdy! I am the Program Coordinator for University Academic Advising and I help out the Husky Success Series team with many of the behind-the-scenes elements of putting on their stellar programming. I graduated from UW Tacoma in March 2020 (great time to go out into the world on ones own) with a degree in Politics, Philosophy, & Economics and a minor in Human Rights. I love my partner, my dog, and bird watching. Catch me around campus reading a good book or napping wherever I can find the space."
"Hey Huskies! I am a current junior pursuing Communications. I am currently working as the ASUWT Director of University Affairs. A few of my passions include helping my fellow huskies, learning new things, and cooking. I was born in Pennsylvania but raised in Seattle, Washington. If you see me on campus, feel free to reach out and ask any questions that you might have."
