Overview
The diversity of UW Tacoma programs and activities frequently requires layered coordination of building operations. Building coordination often involves the services provided by support units such as Facilities, Campus Safety, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), and Information Technology (IT). Building coordination is most efficiently accomplished through the assignment of at least one Building Coordinator (BC) as the first point of contact for occupants and support units.
To locate the BC for a specific building, refer to the list of UW Tacoma Building Coordinators and Access Controllers.
As of 7/23/2025, the UWT Building Coordination Program is still in development. Blank spaces on the BC list are buildings not yet added to the program. We will continue to add buildings and adjust the program to fit unique campus needs over time. Any questions or interest in being a BC for your building can be directed to Jillian Leahy by emailing jcfitz16@uw.edu.
