UW Sustainability Action Plan 2025 Update

With the current Sustainability Action Plan concluding in 2024-25, the University is set to begin the next phase of sustainability efforts with the development of a new plan that will guide us toward our 2050 sustainability objectives. This plan will address the needs of our tri-campus community and involve a range of partners and stakeholders.

We encourage our UW Tacoma community to get involved wherever and whenever you can.

Two-room Montana schoolhouse hosts UW Tacoma professor for artist residency

For nearly 20 years, a historic schoolhouse has hosted artists, writers, musicians and more for a live-work residency in a tiny Montana town of just 25 people. Two Dot Schoolhouse, stewarded by Seattle artist Ruth Marie Tomlinson, offered Assistant Professor Yixuan Pan an inspiring space to prepare for her upcoming solo exhibition at SUNY Binghamton.
