    Recent Facilities Updates

• Upcoming Building Shutdowns - Updated October 7, 2025

  A full-building electrical shutdown is scheduled for Saturday, October 11, from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The following buildings only will be closed October 11 until 5:00 p.m.:

  • PNK
    SCI
    KEY
    UW YMCA

  A second shutdown will take place on Monday, October 13, from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The following buildings only will be closed October 13 until 5:00 p.m.:

  • DOU 
    TPS

  These shutdowns are necessary steps in restoring power to DOU and TPS without generator support. Courses and other scheduled activities in affected buildings will be relocated accordingly. • Cherry Parkes Ground Floor Access - Updated October 1, 2025

  There was a deficiency identified with a roll up fire door at Cherry Parkes ground floor. This is a large roll up door located at the bottom of the staircase that leads from the CP first floor lobby to the CP ground floor. It blocks access from the staircase to the rest of the ground floor. Facilities is working with a vendor to replace the door. Until then, the fire door must remain closed. We will post updates here when we have an estimated timeline for replacement.

  CP 005, CP 007, and all-gender restrooms can be accessed by taking the CP elevator to the ground floor or via Pacific Avenue. Stairs between CP Lobby and CP ground floor are closed.
