If you are experiencing a medical or psychological emergency, please call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest emergency room. For a mental health crisis, you may want to consider the Pierce County Crisis Hotline at 800-576-7764.
Services that Incur Costs
Some services that are part of treatment plans, such as lab tests for sexually transmitted infection screenings, are not covered and the patient will incur the cost. Services that are not covered will be discussed with you before they are ordered or provided, and Student Health Services can work with you to find options within your insurance network or options that work within your budget when possible. Services that are not covered include:
Medications (the Student Health Services provider can prescribe a medication but the patient is responsible for the cost of filling their prescription)
