The Student Activities Board (SAB) is a student-led organization responsible for planning, hosting and sponsoring a wide variety of cultural, entertainment, and social issue events during the academic year. Their goal is to make each event educational, fun and thought-provoking while encouraging communication and collaboration between students, staff, faculty and the local community.

The Student Activities Board Leadership Team is comprised of Student Leaders that plan, produce, and coordinate social, educational, and diverse events on campus.

The SAB Chair serves as a peer mentor and leader for the Student Activities Board. The Chair oversee the daily functions of the SAB as a whole and serve on various campus committees.

Sage Obiero is a criminal justice major with an interest in law school. She’s happy to be a part of SAB as an event coordinator because it is a fun way to get involved with the UWT community and create spaces and activities that people enjoy.
