What is a Registered Student Organization?
Better known at UW Tacoma as RSOs, Registered Student Organizations are student-led and student-executed organizations on campus that work to create an environment for students with similar interests, hobbies, identities, and outlets to come together. Organizations have various goals and objectives they work towards, and the Center for Student Involvement provides as much support as possible to help Registered Student Organizations through space reservations, financial resources, and event planning support.
Whether you're new to campus or hoping to find out more about a particular organization listed below, dive in. Attend a meeting or the Involvement Fair to learn more about the active organizations on campus. Individual members can be just as involved as the officers who run the organizations; just let the officers know you're interested in learning as much as you can about what it means to run a Registered Student Organization on campus.
Not sure where to start? Connect with Conor Leary, the Assistant Director for Student Involvement, to talk about how your interests might connect with one or more student organizations at UW Tacoma. Scroll down and check out all the organizations that are currently active on campus.
