Please note that campus advertising resources may not be used for commercial business enterprises under state law, with the sole exception of advertising space in student publications (WAC 478-136). If you are a local business offering deals to students, the Center for Student Involvement cannot accommodate your advertising request, but we urge you to reach out to The Tacoma Ledger to purchase an advertisement and support student journalism. The Ledger can be reached at ledger@uw.edu.
Campus Televisions
Television screens across campus and in the University YMCA Student Center display still images on a constant rotation.
Please follow the submission requirements shown to the right. Remember that the display time for TV advertisements is short. Design your ad so that it is eye-catching and only includes the most essential information. Less is more!
Television ads are updated as they are received, but please provide at least 2 weeks before your event if you're able to so that information can be properly advertised.
If you need to withdraw an advertisement, send your request by email to Sophia Martinez Tohmi at smtohmi@uw.edu. Please attach an image of the advertisement so that it can be more easily found.

The Grit List --> DubNet Usage
As of September 1, 2026, the Grit List weekly email newsletter has been discontinued.
As an alternative to the Grit List, the Center for Student Involvement will invest time to enhance training and educational resources for DubNet, our student engagement platform, to promote the system’s identity as a primary resource for students to discover opportunities, connect with organizations, and engage with campus opportunities. The management and development of this system is a prominent responsibility of the Center for Student Involvement and as our team embarks on another 3-year contract, we want to ensure that the system is integral to a student’s experience. This investment will include hosting trainings, developing educational resources, and conducting outreach efforts to help departments, faculty, staff, student organizations, and students make the most of the system's capabilities. With more time dedicated to this system, our goal is to increase awareness, participation, and effective use, to ensure that users better understand all of its capabilities and DubNet can become a central hub for student engagement on campus.

RSO Flyers
All flyers that student organizations want to post on the bulletin boards around campus must be approved and stamped beforehand by our office. Bring flyers to the Center for Student Involvement in UWY 107 to be stamped. Any flyers that have been posted without a stamp will be removed. Please remember to be courteous of other postings. Do not overlap other flyers on the bulletin boards.
You may also have your flyer(s) electronically stamped by sending a copy of your advertisement in PDF format to: uwtsi@uw.edu
Please refer to the Use of University Facilities website for a list of posting locations across campus. Additional campus posting policies can be found on the Use of University Facilities website, as well.
Flyers for campus departments are governed by the Use of University Facilities posting guidelines. Please refer to those for postings by campus departments and offices.
