The University of Washington monitors and regulates the use of its name, logo, images, and insignias on item such as t-shirts, novelty items, correspondence, and other emblematic materials. All such variances of names and visual representations are considered UW trademarks, for which approval from the UW Trademarks and Licensing Office must be obtained. RSOs may only use UW logos or trademarks that fall within one of four approved logo sets. The current versions can be seen at the PDF linked through "RSO Logo and Trademark Policies," below.
CSI and Advancement staff are currently working on creating Tacoma variants of these four logo sets, which will become available for download on this page soon.
